As part of the project «To the origins» by the artist Olga Nart Dikaya, an exhibition of works is being held at the Faculty of Arts of Moscow State University. The exhibition presents paintings based on ancient Russian wooden architecture and decorative and applied art. The elements of ornaments that have been used for many centuries to decorate spinning wheels and houses are recreated from archival records and museum samples. Each of the symbols carries a deep meaning associated with the cosmos and Slavic pagan deities. Address: Moscow, Moscow, B. Nikitskaya str., 3, p. 1
The Day of Slavic Writing and Culture is celebrated on May 24. This holiday is inextricably linked with the names of two Christian saints – Equal-to-the-Apostles Cyril and Methodius.
On May 21, 2018, the opening of Olga Nart Dikaya's solo exhibition «To the origins» took place at the IZO ART GALLERY.
